Our approach
We focus on partnering with our clients and looking at your event from a holistic perspective. This means that when you’re planning specific smaller details, for example the flowers or charger plates, we take a step back to see how each little detail coordinates and works with all other aspects of your event from colours to logistics and everything in between. Vanessa Legair Events & Design offers several services to assist you. Weddings involve a lot of time and energy: tending to the little details, marking up the long to-do list, researching vendors, organizing the wedding party and planning all the wedding parties...it can become overwhelming.
Most couples will engage a wedding planner at the beginning, middle or a few months before their wedding (sometimes a few weeks before the wedding!). Even the best of organized couples find themselves running out of steam and/or time along the way, and that's okay! TAG ME IN!
Together, we will review your plans, inspiration photos and ideas, and discuss the best combination of services to meet your needs. In our consultation, we may also discuss design elements to compliment your theme, colours, personal style and budget. Feel free to "show and tell" your wedding swatches, decorations, DIY projects, stories and traditions...your excitement is my excitement and getting to know you is an enjoyable part of the process!
A complimentary 30-minute meeting (via phone or Zoom) may be scheduled to meet and greet each other and discuss our process from start to finish after you complete the request a quote form.
Wedding Month of (Day of) Coordination
This service includes a meeting within one month of your wedding date, creation of the wedding day timeline, communication with all vendors and the venue, presence and assistance with the ceremony rehearsal and management of the wedding day. All particulars will be discussed in the initial meeting and follow-up emails and calls; add-on services are available. This package is perfect for couples who will be planning the majority of their wedding details and need a trusted professional to manage the final weeks of tasks and wedding day activities.
What you can expect:
1-2 one-on-one consultation meetings
Unlimited phone calls or emails during business hours
Preparation of of the wedding day itinerary and coordination binder
Assistance with the wedding rehearsal
Full wedding day management, logistics and vendor communications
Access to our wedding day emergency kit
Access to organizational resources

Coordination Packages start at $1500+, plus HST
Wedding Consultation
This service gives couples the opportunity to meet with a wedding professional at any point during their planning journey. Scheduled on a hourly basis, couples may use this meeting to discuss the legal responsibilities of their wedding activities ( wedding insurance, alcohol permit, advice on tented weddings or weddings on private properties, booking licensed companies to secure chandeliers or florals installations from ceiling etc.), solutions to particular challenges they're facing, get help with researching vendors or venues, budget planning and more.
These meetings will help to ensure you are covering the important bases and uncovering blindspots in wedding plans. Fill out the request a quote form to get started.
Wedding Consultation Meetings start at $150+ per hour, plus HST

Company logos are printed on edible frosting sheets and then adhered to a vanilla sugar cookie or used as decorative toppers for cakes and cupcakes. Individual packaging is available.

Whether you're a small group of volunteers or a large charity or business, my team will help you to plan, design and coordinate your next special event. Product or project launches, charity galas, business anniversaries, benefit concerts and more. Our collaborative approach ensures that all of the goals are met while saving you time and stress. You can focus on the business content of the event and engage with your guests.

Social Events
Bring out the cake, bring on the SMILES!
From birthdays, showers and engagements, to sweet table eats or give-away treats, we will create the perfect showpiece and edibles for your event! Our cakes are made to order, prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients. We specialize
in tiered cakes, sheet cakes and number cakes, decorated in fondant, buttercream and skilled at creating a variety of custom decorations.
Additional sweets include: cupcakes, decorated cookies, cake pops, rice krispie pops, chocolate dipped pretzel rods or strawberries and macarons.
Order minimums range from 1-2 dozen for cupcakes, cookies and other small treats. Individual packaging is also available for an extra cost.
